Introduction of activity | Through case studies on real-life examples, students in this workshop are able to learn how to use equity valuation models to estimate the fundamental value of a firm’s shares and to compare that with the market price to discover the investment value of the shares. |

Introduction to Instructor(s) | Mr. Ken CHAN Senior Lecturer Department of Economics and Finance Mr Chan has extensive teaching experiences in economics and finance. He worked for a number of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong such as Lingnan University and The University of Hong Kong. Before joining the teaching profession, he also worked in several banks, primarily in the areas of credit and wealth management. Mr. Bosco YIM Senior Lecturer Department of Economics and Finance Mr. Yim was a financial market practitioner before joining The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in the areas of treasury, FX trading, investment advisory and wealth management. Mr. Yim holds a master’s degree in finance and other professional designations, such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Currently he is teaching Financial Management, Alternative Investments and Trading Room Applications. |
