Introduction of activity | A 1.5-hour workshop to discuss the changes of language use in different contexts which allows students to explore the differences of language use in school setting and at workplace. The workshop aims to introduce essential elements of academic writing as well as the characteristics of professional language use. |

Introduction to Instructor(s) | Ms. Nicole HO Lecturer Department of English Ms. Nicole Ho obtained an MA in Linguistics at the University College London. She also holds a teaching diploma from the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on parsing in second language acquisition, as well as English for specific purposes, which will give valuable insights of how to improve the learning experience of second language learners. |
