Introduction of activity | Stock warrant is one of the most popular investment vehicles in the stock market of Hong Kong, though they are lesser understood. Warrants are actually like options which can be modelled by option pricing theories. This course, however, is more practical and aims to give a brief overview of stock warrants and how investors can use them. Introduction to Instructor(s) | Mr. Ken CHAN Senior Lecturer Department of Economics and Finance Mr. Chan has extensive teaching experience in economics and finance. He worked for many tertiary institutions in Hong Kong such as Lingnan University and the University of Hong Kong. Before joining the teaching profession, he also worked in several banks, primarily in the areas of credit and wealth management. Mr. Bosco YIM Senior Lecturer Department of Economics and Finance Mr. Yim was a financial market practitioner before joining the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in the areas of treasury, FX trading, investment advisory and wealth management. Mr. Yim holds a master’s degree in finance and other professional designations, such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Currently he is teaching Financial Management, Alternative Investments and Trading Room Applications. |
